Ingredients

  • 8 oz chicken breast or thighs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • Cooking spray
  • Tonkatsu sauce for serving
  • Shredded cabbage

Instructions

    Prep: Pound chicken to 1/4 inch thick. Season with salt, rest 15 minutes.

    Coat: Dredge in flour, egg, then oil-coated panko.

    Air Fry: Cook at 350°F / 176°C for 6-8 minutes per side until golden.

    Rest: Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
